Catering Delivery & Pickup Across Houston

Brown Bag Deli is a local Houston business, and we offer three ways to get your order.

Catering Delivery

We deliver up to five miles from any of our five locations, and farther for orders over $500. Order from the deli closest to your event for the quickest delivery.  

Delivery fee is based on distance, with a $20 minimum. We will confirm the exact fee when we confirm the order; you’ll never experience a surprise additional cost at drop-off. 

Utensils, napkins, and serving pieces are included with every delivery. 

Pickup

Pick up from any location during business hours with no delivery fee. Tell us your pickup time when you order, and it will be packed and ready at the counter when you arrive.  

Order Through Uber Eats, DoorDash or Grubhub

Smaller orders and same-day lunches can go through our delivery partners, where you will find the catering bags and Party Box alongside the regular menu. For anything above the minimums, ordering directly through Square or submitting a catering quote is faster, cheaper, and lets us take special instructions.

How to Order Catering in Three Steps

1. Bagged Lunches or Party Box

Pick your format and headcount. Boxed lunch bags in increments of five, or Party Box platters for six to twelve. Refer to the sizing recommendations as a guide for what to order. 

2. Place Your Order

Order online, call, or send the form. Square is fastest for standard orders. Call 713-206-4058 if you have questions or a large or complex order. Use the quote form below if you would rather have us call you.

3. Your Order Will be Confirmed

We confirm, then deliver it or have it ready. You will get confirmation with the final total, including any delivery fee. Our current lead time is 24 hours for orders under $500 and 48 hours for orders over $500.

What is the minimum order for catering?

Our Simple, Classic, and Deluxe bags have a minimum order of 5 bag increments. Our party box comes in one size perfect for parties of 6-12.

Do you deliver catering orders?

Yes! We offer delivery for catering orders. We recommend when placing a catering order choose a location closest to you for pickup. Delivery fee is dependent on the distance from the location, $20 minimum.

Can I pick up my catering order?

How do I place a catering order?

You can place your order in a variety of methods, you can fill out the form listed above on this page, place your order on our square portal, or call us at 713-206-4058.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash and credit for in-person payments, and online purchases via Square support Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, and JCB. For purchases made over the phone, we accept credit.

           

How far in advance do I need to place my order?

  • Orders under $500 - 24 hours
  • Orders over $500 - 48 hours

Can I cancel or modify my order?

Yes, up to 24 hours notice. Orders over $250 will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee if canceled within 24 hours.

Can you set up a recurring weekly catering order?

Yes. Several Houston offices run a standing weekly order with us. Submit a Catering Form or call 713-206-4058, and we will set up the schedule, keep your standard selection on file, and adjust the headcount week to week. 

Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-friendly catering?

Yes, we accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets.  When placing your order, note dietary needs in the order comments, and we will label those bags. Our kitchen is not a gluten-free facility, so we describe the option as gluten-friendly rather than gluten-free. 

Which Brown Bag Deli locations offer catering?

All five locations support catering. Heights, Texas Medical Center, Downtown, River Oaks, and Hollister. Order from the location closest to your event for the shortest delivery and the lowest fee.

Are your catering sandwiches individually wrapped?

Yes. Every bagged lunch is assembled for one person and packed individually, and we will label them by name if you send us a list. Party Box platters are arranged for sharing rather than individually wrapped.  

Can I choose a combination of specialty sandwiches and build your own for catering orders?

Yes

What are the catering side options?

For your Classic and Deluxe catering bags, you can choose from a variety of chip flavors and a chocolate chip cookie.

How many people does a Party Box feed?

A Party Box holds twelve sandwich halves and feeds six to twelve people.  

Are drinks included in catering orders?

No, but you can add bottled drinks or cases of water if needed.

Are utensils and napkins provided?
